DXB Airport Pickup and Drop Off

Pre-booked Dubai airport pickup and drop off at Dubai International Airport. All three DXB terminals covered, plus DWC. Meet-and-greet in the arrivals hall, name board, flight tracking, 60 minutes free waiting time.

Dubai Airport Pickup and Drop Off at DXB

Gulf Chauffeur handles pre-booked pickup and drop off at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). All three DXB terminals are covered: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3. A DXB pickup includes meet-and-greet in the arrivals hall, a name board, flight tracking, luggage assistance, and 60 minutes of free waiting time from landing.

The process is straightforward. You WhatsApp us your flight number, terminal, arrival time, number of passengers, and your destination. We send a fixed price. The booking is confirmed. On the day, we track your flight and your driver is at the terminal ready for you.

If your flight is delayed, we already know before you land. The driver adjusts. There are no phone calls from a confused driver, no re-booking, and no standing outside in the arrivals area trying to find your ride.

Where DXB Pickup Actually Happens

The most common mistake at Dubai airport is walking outside to the taxi line when a driver is already standing inside waiting for you. Ground transport at DXB splits into three distinct places, and knowing which one you are heading for before you land saves ten minutes and a phone call.

  • The taxi rank - outside the arrivals hall. Dubai Airports signposts an official taxi rank at every terminal and Dubai Taxi Company vehicles queue there around the clock. Follow the taxi signs from arrivals and join the line. Dubai Airports lists an airport starting fare of AED 25, with distance charged on the meter from there.
  • The ride-hailing zone - a separate signposted pickup point. Uber, Careem and Bolt do not collect from the taxi rank at DXB. You book in the app and follow the marked signage, which leads to a different door from the taxi queue.
  • The pre-booked meeting point - inside the arrivals hall. A pre-booked driver does not queue at the rank. Your driver waits in the meet-and-greet area holding a name board, then walks you and your luggage to a vehicle already parked and waiting.

Dubai Airports has also introduced DXB Greet & Go at Terminal 3, a QR-code kiosk in the arrivals area for guests with pre-booked hotel, limousine or tour operator transport. You scan a code to see your assigned driver, vehicle registration and parking location, and staff walk you to the car. Our Dubai airport meet-and-greet guide covers how the name-board process works across all terminals.

DXB Terminal Pickup Points

The three DXB terminals are separate buildings and you cannot walk between them landside, so the terminal on the booking has to be the one you actually land at. Send the flight number rather than guessing and it gets confirmed for you.

Terminal 1 - flydubai international routes, Air India, Indigo and other carriers. Meet-and-greet in the T1 arrivals hall. Full detail on the DXB Terminal 1 pickup page.

Terminal 2 - budget and regional carriers, plus charter flights. The smallest of the three, with a single arrivals area, which makes it the easiest terminal to coordinate a meeting point at.

Terminal 3 - Emirates, and the largest terminal at DXB. Its three concourses all feed into one central arrivals hall, so every T3 passenger exits into the same place regardless of gate. Full detail on the DXB Terminal 3 pickup page.

DWC Pickup and Drop Off: Al Maktoum International

Al Maktoum International (DWC) sits in Dubai South, on the opposite side of the city from DXB. It handles charter, scheduled and cargo traffic rather than the volume DXB carries, so arrivals halls are quieter and the walk from customs to the meeting point is short.

Two things change compared with a DXB booking. First, the drive: DWC is a substantially longer run from Deira, Downtown or the Creek than DXB is, though it is closer to Dubai Marina, JLT and Jebel Ali. A departure pickup from DWC is therefore set earlier than the same flight time out of DXB. Second, taxi supply at DWC is thinner outside the arrival banks, which is exactly when a pre-booked car earns its place. The Al Maktoum airport transfer page covers the airport on its own.

Dubai Airport Drop Off for Departures

Departures at DXB are on the level above arrivals, with kerbside drop-off bays directly outside each check-in hall. Dubai Airports applies a time limit to those bays, so it is a set-down zone rather than somewhere to park and wait. On a drop off with us, the driver pulls into the bay for your terminal, unloads your luggage and leaves: no parking fee to settle, no walk from the car park with a trolley.

Timing is the part worth getting right, and two things decide it. The first is your airline check-in cut-off, which is printed on your booking and is earlier than most people remember for long-haul. The second is the road. Sheikh Zayed Road and Airport Road can add half an hour or more in the morning and evening peaks, and winter fog can slow the run to the terminal in the early hours.

So when you book a Dubai airport drop off, send your flight time rather than a pickup time. The pickup is worked backwards from it with peak-hour traffic built in. If your flight is early morning, that is fine - we operate 24 hours a day.

Flight Tracking, Waiting Time and Delays

The gap that catches people out is between the scheduled landing time and the moment you actually walk out of customs. Immigration and baggage at DXB can take ten minutes or the better part of an hour, depending on how many wide-bodies landed together. Here is how it is handled.

  • Tracking from booking. Your flight number is monitored from the moment the booking is confirmed, so the driver dispatches against the live landing time rather than the time on your ticket.
  • 60 minutes free waiting. Counted from actual landing, not scheduled landing. That is intended to absorb normal immigration and baggage delays. Waiting beyond that is charged at a rate agreed when you book.
  • If the flight lands early. Tracking picks the earlier arrival up and the driver is moved forward.
  • If the flight is late. Dispatch shifts with the delay, and you do not pay waiting charges for a delay that was visible on the tracker before the driver set off.
  • If you are held up inside. Message on WhatsApp from the baggage hall. The driver stays put rather than circling the terminal.

Where DXB Pickups Go

From the airport we run to any part of Dubai: Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah, DIFC, Business Bay, JBR, Jumeirah, Deira, Bur Dubai, JLT, Dubai Hills, Mirdif, Al Quoz, and everywhere in between. Downtown and Business Bay are the shortest common runs from DXB; Marina, JBR and the Palm are the longest and the most affected by evening congestion. The reverse leg is covered on the Dubai Marina to airport page.

Pickups also run well beyond Dubai. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah are all priced as fixed transfers from the terminal, which suits passengers whose real destination was never Dubai. The capital run is set out on the Dubai to Abu Dhabi page. If you are heading straight to a ship rather than a hotel, see the Dubai cruise terminal transfer guide.

How to Book a DXB Pickup or Drop Off

WhatsApp +971 55 734 4876 with your flight number, terminal, arrival or departure date and time, passenger count, luggage count, and the address at the other end. A fixed price comes back in writing before you commit. For an arrival, the flight is tracked from that moment and the vehicle is allocated to your flight rather than found in a queue on the day.

Mention car seats, oversized luggage, golf bags or a pet if any apply, so the right vehicle is assigned rather than swapped at the kerb. Bookings made the night before are usually fine; a few days ahead is safer through the December and January peak.

DXB Airport Pickup and Drop Off - FAQ

Where is the DXB airport pickup point?

It depends on how you are travelling. Official taxi ranks sit outside the arrivals hall at every DXB terminal and are signposted from inside. Uber, Careem and Bolt collect from a separate signposted ride-hailing zone, not from the taxi rank. A pre-booked car service uses neither: the driver waits inside the arrivals hall with a name board, so the DXB pickup point for our passengers is the meet-and-greet area a few steps past the customs exit.

Where is the Dubai airport drop off area?

Departures drop-off at DXB is on the departures level, with kerbside bays directly outside the check-in hall. Dubai Airports applies a time limit to those bays, so it is a set-down zone rather than somewhere to park and wait. On a Dubai airport drop off with us, the driver pulls into the bay for your terminal, unloads your luggage and leaves - there is no parking fee to settle and no walk from the car park with a trolley.

Is DXB Terminal 1 pickup different from Terminal 3 pickup?

The process is the same at both, but the buildings are separate and you cannot walk between them landside, so the terminal has to be right on the booking. Terminal 1 handles flydubai international routes, Air India, Indigo and other carriers. Terminal 3 is the Emirates terminal and the largest of the three. Terminal 2 serves budget and regional airlines. Send your flight number rather than guessing, and the terminal is confirmed for you.

Can I book a Dubai airport pick up in advance?

Yes, and it is the point of the service. Send your flight number, terminal, arrival date, passenger count and destination on WhatsApp. You get a fixed price back in writing, the flight is tracked from the moment the booking is confirmed, and the vehicle is allocated to your flight rather than found in a queue on the day. Bookings the night before are usually fine; a few days ahead is better in December and January.

Do you cover DWC pickup and drop-off as well as DXB?

Yes. Al Maktoum International (DWC) in Dubai South is covered on the same basis as DXB, with meet-and-greet in arrivals and kerbside drop-off for departures. DWC handles charter, scheduled and cargo traffic rather than the volume DXB carries. The practical difference is the drive: DWC is a longer run from most of the city than DXB, so a departure pickup is set earlier. Tell us DWC when you book.

Which Dubai airport terminals do you cover?

We cover all three terminals at Dubai International Airport - T1 (flydubai, international carriers), T2 (low-cost and regional), and T3 (Emirates). We also cover DWC, Al Maktoum International Airport.

How does meet-and-greet work at DXB?

Your driver waits at the arrivals hall with a name board showing your name. You exit customs, see the board, and your driver assists with luggage directly to the vehicle. No searching for cars outside, no waiting in the heat.

What is the free waiting time at Dubai Airport?

60 minutes of free waiting time is included, counted from the actual landing time - not the scheduled time. If your flight is delayed, we adjust automatically. Extended waiting beyond 60 minutes is charged at a rate agreed when you book.

Can you drop me to Dubai Airport for departure?

Yes. We pick you up from your hotel, apartment, or address and drop you at your terminal entrance. We aim to arrive with enough time for comfortable check-in and security.

Can you take me from Dubai Airport to Abu Dhabi or Sharjah?

Yes. Airport pickups can go to any UAE destination - not just Dubai. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah - all covered. Mention your final destination when booking.
