The Route
Dubai to Abu Dhabi covers approximately 140 km via the E11 (Sheikh Zayed Road). In normal conditions the drive takes 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes. On Friday afternoons heading into Abu Dhabi and Sunday evenings returning to Dubai, traffic can extend the journey. Salik tolls of AED 4 to AED 8 apply on the route.
