The Mercedes-Maybach: Top of the Range
The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is the most luxurious vehicle we run, and we will be honest about where it sits. It is priced above our Mercedes S-Class and it is a different proposition from a Rolls-Royce. The Maybach is for the situation where the rear passenger is a principal and the arrival is part of the impression: an ultra-VIP landing at DXB, a royal or diplomatic guest, a bride and groom, or a high-net-worth visitor arriving at the Burj Al Arab, the Bulgari Resort on Jumeirah Bay, or One&Only.
The car is built on an extended-wheelbase S-Class with roughly 180mm of extra length over the standard car, almost all of it added to the rear. The result is a back seat that genuinely reclines, with a deployable calf cushion, heated and ventilated seats with massage, folding tables for work, and a cabin quiet enough that conversation drops to a murmur on Sheikh Zayed Road. If you have ridden in an S-Class and thought it could not get better, the Maybach is the answer to that.

These are top-tier rates. The Maybach is roughly double the cost of our S-Class executive sedan, and that gap is real. If your priority is a quiet, well-finished business transfer rather than a first-class rear cabin, the S-Class is the smarter spend and we will tell you so.

When the Maybach Is the Right Car
Ultra-VIP Airport Arrivals
An overnight flight followed by a reclined rear seat, a calf cushion, and a silent cabin on the way from DXB to the hotel is a different arrival from a standard transfer. For a chairman, principal, or family arriving at DXB Terminal 3, the chauffeur tracks the flight, meets the guest inside with a name board, handles luggage and the porter, and has the Maybach waiting at the terminal exit. The car is at its best on a longer run, for example DXB to the Burj Al Arab or to a residence on Palm Jumeirah.
Royal, Diplomatic, and Government Guests
The Maybach reads as serious, discreet luxury rather than spectacle, which suits diplomatic and government protocol. It pairs naturally with a support vehicle for security or staff, and our chauffeurs are experienced with the standards expected for protected and high-profile guests: punctuality, route discretion, and a driver who stays with the vehicle. For a single principal who needs more than one car in the convoy, we quote the Maybach with a GMC Yukon as the support car.
Luxury Weddings
For a Dubai wedding, the Maybach is the comfortable choice for the couple across a long day of moving between the ceremony, photos, and reception. It coordinates with venue decoration, and the refrigerated compartment with champagne flutes is a genuine option for the journey from the ceremony. If you want a single dramatic photo entrance, a Rolls-Royce is the more theatrical car, but for hours in the seat the Maybach is usually the better choice.
High-Net-Worth Hotel Guests
Guests checking in at the Burj Al Arab, the Bulgari Resort on Jumeirah Bay, One&Only Royal Mirage, or the Four Seasons on Jumeirah Beach expect transport that matches the property. The Maybach is the car that arrives at a forecourt of that standard without looking out of place. Maybach, S-Class, or Rolls-Royce
It is worth being clear about the three options at the top of the market so you spend on the right car:
- Mercedes S-Class - the executive standard, excellent and roughly half the Maybach rate. The sensible choice for most business travel.
- Rolls-Royce - the theatrical statement car for a wedding entrance or red-carpet arrival, where the vehicle itself is the centrepiece.
- Mercedes-Maybach - the most comfortable rear seat of the three, discreet rather than showy, best when the principal will spend real time in the car.
