The fleet size is small relative to the overall number of taxis operating in Dubai. Availability is unpredictable and depends entirely on how many are in circulation near your location at the time you request one. There is no single published Lexus taxi price, and anyone quoting you a neat figure is guessing. It is a metered premium tier, so the fare depends on distance, time of day, traffic and tolls - and the RTA prices the premium fleet above the standard taxi rather than on a separate flat rate you can look up in advance.
What you can pin down is the tariff underneath it. The standard Dubai taxi meter is the floor that the premium tier is priced above, so knowing those numbers tells you the shape of the bill even if the exact multiplier is not published:

Worked examples on the standard meter
- 10 km across town, daytime - AED 5.00 flag fall plus 10 km at AED 2.19 comes to about AED 26.90, plus AED 4 for each Salik gate on the route
- 25 km, daytime - AED 5.00 plus AED 54.75 is roughly AED 59.75 before tolls; the same trip after 10pm starts at AED 5.50 and lands near AED 60.25
- DXB to Dubai Marina, about 30 km - the airport start of around AED 25 plus AED 65.70 in distance is close to AED 91, plus AED 4-8 in Salik

Why People Look for Lexus Taxis
The appeal is straightforward: a better vehicle, a more professional experience, and perceived status above the standard taxi. When a Lexus Taxi Is Genuinely the Right Call
An honest page has to say this. Take the premium taxi when the trip is a single short hop you did not plan, you are one or two people with light bags, you happen to see one available in the app right now, and nothing about your schedule is time-critical. On that trip it is cheaper than a chauffeur booking and it arrives in minutes. Paying a premium taxi fare for a fifteen-minute run to dinner is a perfectly sensible use of money.
It stops being the right call the moment certainty enters the picture: a flight to catch, a landing to be met, a group with luggage, a day of stops, or a car that has to be at the door at a stated hour. The premium tier cannot promise any of those, no matter how good the vehicle is.
