How the Concert Driver Arrangement Works
Book before the concert
Provide your pickup address, venue, estimated show end time, and group size. Rate confirmed.
Evening pickup
Driver picks you up from home or hotel at agreed time. Drops you at the venue entrance.
Driver waits
Driver parks nearby or in a driver waiting zone. Stays on call throughout the event.
Post-show collection
10-15 minutes before show end, WhatsApp the driver. They position at the agreed pickup point.
Exit ahead of surge
While others queue for Careem, you walk to your waiting vehicle. Fixed rate, no change.
Concert Group Transport
For groups of 4-7 people attending the same concert, a GMC Yukon is the efficient choice: one vehicle, one booking, one fixed price for the whole group. Per-person the cost is often comparable to two individual Careem rides at post-surge pricing. For 8 people, a Mercedes Vito covers the group in a single vehicle.
Tip: for Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, the post-concert wait for Careem is even worse than at Coca-Cola Arena due to the limited road exits from Yas Island. Pre-booking a Dubai-Abu Dhabi driver for the full evening is strongly recommended for any Yas Island concert.
